Things To Do
There is plenty to do and see in and around Padstow. For golfers,
Trevose Head golf course is a couple of miles from town and
just across the river is the St Enodoc course. Both offer day
membership and have superb facilities. Within walking distance
from the harbour is the beautiful Elizabethan house at Prideaux
Place while further afield, Pencarrow House at Wadebridge and
the National Trust's Lanhydrock House and gardens near Bodmin
will leave you spellbound. Even the stunning biomes and tropical
gardens of the Eden Project are a mere 15 miles away.
And for the children? Take your pick. If they tire of playing
on the safe sandy beaches or riding the waves there's a wealth
of adventure and farm parks and other attractions to explore.
